It is being reported in this story that Ted Cruz has been awarded all of Colorado’s delegates.
Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz has swept the Colorado GOP convention, winning all 13 of the state’s at-large delegates.
And after also winning all 21 delegates awarded at the congressional district conventions throughout the week, the Texas senator leaves Colorado with a complete shutout of his opponents.
In a statement Saturday night, Cruz said the win proves that Republicans are coming together behind him.
“Today was another resounding victory for conservatives, Republicans, and Americans who care about the future of our country,” Cruz said in the statement. “Utah, North Dakota, Wisconsin, and tonight’s incredible results in Colorado have proven this: Republicans are uniting behind our campaign because they want a leader with real solutions who will bring back jobs, freedom, and security.”
Colorado has a convoluted system for choosing its delegates: the state holds congressional district conventions to award 21 delegates and then a GOP convention to award the remaining 13 delegates. Apparently Colorado voters are not part of the Republican Presidential primary process and unless you are a part of the Republican party you do not have a voice.
It seems like a pretty screwed up system if you ask me, and if I were a Colorado voter I would not be happy, but this system was adopted last year and while Donald Trump is crying foul he should have known how the process worked in that state and he should have better prepared. I had trouble deciding what to share today for the musical selection so I went back to my all-time favorite band–The Cure. Here is “Play for Today.” This has always been one of my favorite songs by The Cure and this version features a very young band while they were still in their “anti-image” phase. Eventually they went “full ’80’s” but not until a few years later.
“It’s not a case of telling the truth, some lies just fit the situation”
I think that line applies to politics in America today…

Last week Azealia Banks tweeted out that Sarah Palin should be gang raped by black men but for some reason the left does not consider this to be hate speech even though by the left’s own definition this epitomizes hate speech. In the latest ZoNation entitled “Was Azealia Banks Tweet at Sarah Palin Hate Speech” Zo takes on this issue as only he can.
In this video he calls out the left for calling the right misogynists while not coming to the defense of a woman who just faced one of the most hateful attacks possible. He also blames the right for taking this type of attack and for not fighting back because of the candidate Sarah Palin is supporting.

Bernie Sanders wins the Wyoming caucuses
It is being reported here that Bernie Sanders has won the Wyoming caucuses with 56% of the vote. Without any disrespect to Wyoming this win does not mean too much in the overall picture when it comes to the delegate count at this point.
Wyoming only has 14 delegates and they are awarded proportionally so when all is said and done Bernie Sanders will gain only a few delegates on Hillary Clinton. But where this could be of a greater benefit for the Senator from Vermont is momentum-wise.
The big prize is next week in New York and with his victory in Wyoming Bernie Sanders has now won eight out of the last nine contests. Will this give him a lift heading into Hillary Clinton’s adopted home state? The Democratic voters are speaking loudly and they are proclaiming that they want Bernie Sanders as the nominee and they are rejecting Hillary Clinton.
The Democratic elitists in the establishment, however, are not listening; this race is actually pretty close with Bernie Sanders only trailing the former Secretary of State by around 250 delegates until you factor in the superdelegates. When these superdelegates are added into the mix Hillary Clinton has a nearly insurmountable lead.

Was Guccifer’s extradition to the U.S. related to the FBI’s probe into Hillary Clinton’s email scandal?
Last month Romania approved a request from the United States government and infamous hacker “Guccifer” was extradited to the United States. Here is more on that story:
Romania’s top court has approved a request by U.S. authorities to extradite a convicted hacker known as Guccifer, a source within Romania’s DIICOT anti-organized crime and terrorism unit told Reuters on Friday.
“The court approved an 18-month temporary extradition to America for the hacker. This follows a request made by U.S. authorities,” the source said.

Barack Obama releases thousands of Fast and Furious documents previously sealed under Executive Privilege
Back in 2012, when the investigation into the Fast and Furious scandal seemed to be closing in on Eric Holder, the Attorney General asked Barack Obama to invoke Executive Privilege to seal thousands of documents related to the gunrunning scandal. The President naturally obliged him and eventually the Congress voted to hold Eric Holder in Contempt. But of course this is as far as it went, it would have been a shock if Eric Holder’s Injustice Department actually sought charges against the person in charge of the department. And this bring us to today:
The White House announced today that the Obama regime is releasing thousands of documents which were previously held secret when the President invoked Executive Privilege despite the fact the option was available to file another appeal.

Latest New York poll shows Donald Trump with a big lead over John Kasich, with Ted Cruz in third
While Ted Cruz scored a big victory in Wisconsin last night it looks like Donald Trump is headed toward an even bigger victory in New York in a couple of weeks. The latest New York poll shows Donald Trump with a huge lead over John Kasich with Ted Cruz a very distant third place.

A Monmouth University survey released Wednesday shows Trump taking 52 percent support, followed by Kasich at 25 percent. Ted Cruz has 17 percent.
This poll was conducted before Ted Cruz’s victory in Wisconsin last night so it remains to be seen if he can get any kind of bounce heading into New York. If he does receive any kind of bounce it is unlikely it will be anywhere near enough to make him competitive with Donald Trump, maybe he can catch John Kasich if he is lucky.
This is the billionaire businessman’s home state after all and besides that I think it is unlikely New Yorkers have forgotten the Texan Senator’s “New York values” comment which Donald Trump was successfully able to spin into a comment on September 11th when we all know Ted Cruz was calling Donald Trump a liberal.
After Ted Cruz’s victory in Wisconsin Donald Trump needs to secure 70% of the remaining delegates in order to win the nomination before the convention and that will be nearly impossible, we are going to see a brokered convention in my opinion and at that point all hell is going to break loose.

All of the talk around a brokered convention has focused on the Republican side of the aisle and the shenanigans going on to steal the nomination from both Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, however with the exception of some of the blogs nobody is really talking about the way the Democratic party elites, with the help of the media, are trying to fix the Democratic primary through the use of the superdelegates.
If Bernie Sanders wins Wisconsin tonight he will have some momentum heading into New York where he is already making gains on Hillary Clinton. The Sanders campaign is openly talking about winning the nomination at a brokered convention although the Clinton campaign is saying the lead is nearly insurmountable.
Paul Ryan says he is not interested in becoming the Republican nominee at a brokered convention
There has been quite a bit of talk lately about there being a brokered Republican convention and how if it comes to this the Republican establishment will try to nominate a “fresh face” to be the party’s flag bearer. I am of the opinion that this is the goal of the Republican establishment and that John Kasich is working with the GOP in order to ensure a brokered convention comes to pass.
Two names have been bandied about as possible fresh faces and they are Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. I have to believe that even the clowns in the Republican establishment are not stupid enough to run Mitt Romney again after the 2012 debacle so I believe it will be Paul Ryan who emerges from the pack if either Donald Trump or Ted Cruz are denied the nomination.
Today Paul Ryan vehemently denied he has any interest in becoming the party nominee, here is more:
I have two theories as to why John Kasich is staying in the Republican primary even though he has been mathematically eliminated from winning enough delegates before the convention to win the nomination but I have not been able to figure out which one is the truth, if either is. According to my theories either he has reached a deal with Donald Trump in order to help him win the nomination before the convention by splitting the anti-Trump vote or he is trying to split the total vote, at the behest of the Republican establishment, in order to keep Donald Trump from winning the nomination before the convention.
I understand that these two theories are at odds with each other so maybe there is a third option, and that option is that he wants to help usher in a brokered convention because he is under the delusional belief that the Republican establishment will actually choose him as the nominee if both Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are denied enough delegates to win the nomination before the convention.
John Kasich made some comments today which lead me to believe that this third theory is closer to the truth than the first two. Here is part of what he had to say:
