Here is a new ad being run by the Romney campaign which highlights candidate Obama’s opposition to John McCain’s plan to cut $800 billion from Medicare to pay for healthcare reform and compares it to Obamacare where over $700 billion was cut from Medicare.

New poll shows Scott Brown opening up a six point lead over Elizabeth Warren in the Massachusetts Senate race
This is certainly good news for the Republicans’ in their attempt at gaining control of the Senate in November; Scott Brown has now opened up a six point lead in the Massachusetts Senate race and is beginning to put distance between himself and the woman who once falsely claimed to be a Native American in order to advance her career using affirmative action, the woman who claims to be the intellectual foundation of the Occupy movement, and the architect of Barack Obama’s “you didn’t build that” comment–Elizabeth Warren.
I had been counting this seat as a loss for Republicans and coupled with the now likely loss of Todd Akin in Missouri after his moronic comments on rape and abortion figured it would be virtually impossible for the Republicans to gain control of the Senate. If these numbers hold up and Scott Brown is able to hold on to the ‘people’s seat’ it will greatly improve the Republicans’ chances of gaining control of the Senate.

Below is a video that Jim over at Conservatives on Fire left in yesterday’s open thread that I just had to share with everyone. This video was made by some former Navy SEALs and other special operations personnel and includes military and intelligence experts, and it is about the damage that the Obama regime has done in putting politics ahead of national security with all of the leaks coming from somewhere in the regime.
Security leaks led to the capture and imprisonment of the Pakistani doctor who helped lead the United States to bin Laden, how many others will be willing to help us weed out the terrorists in the future now that they know the United States cannot be trusted to protect them? And this is only one example, please watch the video below to see the damage the Obama regime has done to national security because they were more concerned with gaining political points. It is over twenty minutes long, but well worth the time.

Today I am including and audio clip from Allen West in which he is asked about the Democrats calling the Republicans extremists and he answers it by turning the tables on the Democrats. He talks about the hypocrisy and the extremism of the left, and says it is time for Republicans to go on the offensive. Please take a few minutes to give it a listen, you won’t be disappointed.

Gunrunner: ATF official granted paid leave so that he can collect a second six figure salary with JP Morgan
The Department of Injustice has finished its investigation into the deadly operation known as Fast and Furious and while it will be about a month before we learn the results of this investigation Darrell Issa and Charles Grassley have more questions.
We already knew that three people involved in the deadly operation received promotions–Eric Holder prefers to call them reassignments–to cushy jobs in Washington DC and I believe this was to persuade them to remain silent on the scandal.
We also know that at least three people who work for Barack Obama in the White House were informed about Fast and Furious as the operation was ongoing, and that once the investigation started getting to close to Barack Obama Darrell Issa requested to speak to White House aide Kevin O’Reilly only to be informed that he was unavailable for comment because he had been reassigned to Iraq.
Payoffs and punishments lead one to believe this is part of a massive cover up, and today we learned that Darrell Issa and Charles Grassley want to know how it could be that a man in the center of the Fast and Furious scandal was allowed to take a PAID leave from the ATF so that he could work a second job and collect a second six figure salary.
Issa and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) are demanding to know why a top ATF official involved in Operation Fast and Furious remains on paid leave from ATF — while simultaneously drawing a six-figure salary from J.P. Morgan, a major investment bank.
Under any reading of the relevant personnel regulations, it appears that ATF management was under no obligation to approve this sort of arrangement,” wrote Issa and Grassley. “Given McMahon’s outsized role in the Fast and Furious scandal, the decision to approve an extended annual leave arrangement in order to attain pension eligibility and facilitate full-time, outside employment while still collecting a full-time salary at ATF raises a host of questions about both the propriety of the arrangement and the judgment of ATF management.
Bill McMahon is at the center of the scandal and yet Eric Holder and the Department of Injustice and the ATF have granted him a leave of absence so that he can earn two six figure paychecks at the same time as well as build a pension J.P. Morgan.
I would like to know the answer to this question as well: Is this yet another payoff in return for silence? Or is it a reward for his loyalty because Eric Holder is going to make him the fall guy in the investigation which was just handed over to Darrell Issa?
Whatever the case may be one thing is for certain; there is no way this is ethical but I would expect nothing less. The cover up continues…..
Claiming that Janet Napolitano is ordering them to break the law, ten ICE agents have filed suit against Barack Obama’s DREAM Act Executive Order.
Ten Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents filed a lawsuit against Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano and ICE Director John Morton Thursday, taking on recent Obama administration directives which they say prevent them from upholding the law.
The suit, filed in federal court in Dallas, Texas, challenges the administration’s June 15th deferred action directive which instructed ICE agents not to arrest certain illegal immigrants for deportation and facilitate the granting of work permits for some directive beneficiaries.
“We are federal law enforcement officers who are being ordered to break the law. This directive puts ICE agents and officers in a horrible position,” President of the National Immigration and Customs Enforcement Council and former ICE agent Chris Crane said in a statement.

Stimulus funds used to propagandize green energy jobs on MSNBC
The Washington Times is reporting that $500,000 in stimulus funds were used by the Labor Department to hire McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations LLC to promote the potential for jobs in the green energy field.
These funds were then used to buy advertising on shows on MSNBC anchored by Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann to push Barack Obama’s green energy plan. We now know how much of a failure Barack Obama’s green energy initiative has been, it was simply a means to funnel money back into the campaign coffers of well connected Democrats as I have shown in my many ‘Solargate’ posts, and if any jobs were created as a result that was simply considered a bonus.
The Obama regime needed to promote this agenda if this was to be the next big thing so they allocated a small percentage of the money to be used by a friendly news outlet to further the agenda, this was nothing more than a political stunt designed to draw support for a political position using taxpayer money:
this was obviously meant for selling a particular political agenda,” Mr. Williams said. “The placement really reeks of a political ad rather than a job ad, and taxpayers see through this.
“Taxpayers would be a lot happier at the end of the day to see a completed road rather than a bunch of ads on cable television
Taxpayer money was taken from stimulus funds and used to run political ads to promote an agenda which was failing, and while $500,000 might not be allot of money when we are talking about billions of dollars this still highlights the incestuous relationship between the Obama regime and the propaganda arm of the regime otherwise known as the mainstream media.
Eric Holder and the Department of Injustice have been challenging newly passed voter ID laws in every state which has passed them. Because Virginia left the Union before the War Between the States any voter laws the state passes must be approved by the federal government under the Voting Rights Act, but in an interesting turn of events the Department of Injustice has approved Virginia’s new voter ID law and will not challenge it in court.
At first glance this would seem like a victory, but there is a difference between Virginia’s new voter ID law and laws passed by states the Department of Injustice is suing. The difference between Virginia’s new law and laws passed by other states is the fact that Virginia still doesn’t require a photo ID; one simply needs to produce a valid Social Security number (and those are never stolen, right?) an electric bill, a paycheck stub, or something to that effect.
In other words voters in Virginia only have to prove they are alive (which is a plus) and are residents of Virginia, they do not have to prove they are in the country legally and they do not have to prove they are not felons so the federal government does not have a problem with this law.
