Gunrunner: Darrell Issa to subpoena Eric Holder
It’s on! It has just been learned that Darrell Issa will subpoena Eric Holder next week in an attempt to find out what Eric Holder knew about the deadly Operation Fast and Furious and when he knew it. On May 3rd of this year Eric Holder testified in front of the House Judiciary Committee, while under oath, that he did not learn about Fast and Furious until a few weeks earlier, but recently released documents seem to contradict Eric Holder’s sworn statement and it now appears very likely that Eric Holder perjured himself before the Congress while under oath. In light of the release of these documents Eric Holder has changed his story and now claims he misunderstood the question, but this has only cast more doubt on the Attorney General and the truthfulness of his sworn statement.
Issa, who is also a member of the House Judiciary Committee where Holder testified in May that he’d only learned of the program a few weeks earlier, told “Fox News Sunday” that “people in the top” of the Justice Department knew about the operation, were “well-briefed about it, and seemed to be the command and control and funding for this program.”
Issa said those officials, who may or may not include Holder, would have known that the program was facing objections from law enforcement personnel in the field, but appeared to continue to let guns “walk” across the border.
“We didn’t just have a few (guns) not be tracked. The whole program was about not tracking them until they were found in the scene of crimes. And they didn’t just allow. They facilitated just one guy buy, one straw buy, over 700 weapons,” Issa said
This is the crux of the issue at hand; the official regime explanation for letting guns walk into Mexico doesn’t hold water; the “Justice” Department is trying to claim that the guns were going to be traced back to known drug lords and violent criminals, but we now know that the guns were never tracked until they turned up at the scenes of violent crimes, such as the murder sight of Brian Terry.
Solyndra: Barack Obama ingored a legal brief which questioned the legality of the Solyndra loan
Last week George Stephanopoulos asked Barack Obama about the burgeoning Solyndra scandal and Barack Obama answered him by stating that “hindsight is always 20/20.”
He also went on to claim that the company went through the review process and that people in his regime felt it was a good bet. (This of course is a lie because we know that Barack Obama fast tracked the review and the company wasn’t properly vetted.) Only now looking back on the $500 million in taxpayers money that went out the window is the president able to see that this wasn’t a good risk of taxpayer money, that is his claim. Hey, you win some you lose some right?
But contrary to the president’s claim, there were people in his regime which did not think Solyndra was a good bet and in fact Barack Obama needn’t have relied solely on hindsight to admit his mistake because the mistake should have been prevented–people in his regime were warning him all along not to give Solyndra a loan guarantee and he ignored the warnings for political reasons; he wanted to use Solyndra as a backdrop for Joe Biden to announce Barack Obama new green energy initiative.
And if that was not enough to persuade the president to put the people above his radical agenda, then perhaps a legal briefing which warned Barack Obama that giving Solyndra the loan may actually be an illegal act should have been enough to make the president think twice about the loan–but it wasn’t.
Gunrunner: Eric Holder digs in his heels
There are only two possible scenarios regarding Eric Holder when it comes to the deadly Fast and Furious scandal; either he was grossly incompetent and negligent or he authorized the operation and was duplicitous in the death of at least 200 Mexicans and two Americans. Eric Holder has weighed these two options and has decided that is is better for him if he were to be considered grossly incompetent.
When he testified before the Congress under oath Eric Holder stated that he had only learned of the scandal after it became a scandal but recently released White House emails show that Eric Holder was receiving weekly update on the operation. This news has lead to increased calls by Republicans in the Congress for Eric Holder to resign, and the heat has been turned up on the embattled head of the “Justice” Department.
Eric Holder is digging in his heels and is denying that he misled the Congress and has no intention of resigning, claiming that this is nothing but “political posturing” by those Republicans who seek justice in this case.
My testimony was truthful and accurate and I have been consistent on this point throughout. I have no recollection of knowing about Fast and Furious or of hearing its name prior to the public controversy about it,” Holder said in a five-page letter sent to Congress Friday afternoon. “Prior to early 2011, I certainly never knew about the tactics employed in the operation
Latest New Hampshire primary poll (10/07/11)
Earlier today a Zogby poll was released which showed that Herman Cain had suddenly jumped out to a twenty point lead over his nearest competitor, Mitt Romney. I have to be honest here, I have a hard time believing that Herman Cain has gained this type of momentum in such a short period. And I say that as someone who happens to be a big fan of the man. If I had to chose right now I would vote for Rick Santorum but Herman Cain would be a strong second.
In this latest poll Rick Perry comes in at a distant third with 12%. I feel as if most of Rick Perry’s early support was more of an anti-Romney vote than an endorsement of the Texas governor and if this is true it is likely that many of the anti-Romney Rick Perry supporters peeled off and went to Cain after the last debate when Rick Perry called those who do not agree with giving the children of illegal aliens in-state tuition heartless, but would enough of them have jumped to Herman Cain to provide him with this lead? The Zogby poll does not go into the details of where Herman Cain’s new found support is coming from, I have my doubts about this poll, but let’s take it at face value and state that it is true.

This is a video from 1994 and it is of Herman Cain participating in a Town Hall meeting with then President Bill Clinton. Gunrunner: Republicans turn up the heat on Eric Holder
With the recently released White House documents which show that in all likelihood Eric Holder perjured himself in sworn testimony to the Congress on Operation Fast and Furious, Republicans are beginning to turn up the heat.
Lamar smith has already sent a letter to the president asking for a special counsel to be set up to investigate the suddenly embattled Eric Holder, but this is just the beginning of Eric Holder’s troubles because while these documents are damning to the man charged with upholding federal law the White House is still holding back other documents which we can all assume are the more damning documents and because of this the Republicans are now emboldened to go after Eric Holder–rightfully so.
Darrell Issa today asked Eric Holder to simply admit the truth–that he knew about Operation Fast and Furious:
He may or may not have perjured himself, but he certainly failed to answer my questions and [Rep.] Jason Chaffetz’s questions about what did he know — he implied he knew nothing when in fact he at least knew something,” Issa said on Fox News. “We certainly would like to believe that he was disingenuous but not lying. The fact is, the people who are making those statements on his behalf are lying on his behalf, period.”
The California Republican insisted that Holder “had to know” about Fast and Furious from his weekly briefings, citing at least seven separate memos that he said included information about the program. In addition, Holder’s “number two and number three” at the DoJ were “intimately involved,” Issa argued.
“This is a man … who, carefully, if he doesn’t like the question, answers it the way he wants to,” he said. “He had every obligation to say, ‘I may not have known about all the details but of course I knew about Fast and Furious because I was briefed somewhat on it weekly.’ He needs to come forward and at least admit that because right now, what he said is untrue and he needs to clarify before the committee.
Darrell Issa knows that Eric Holder is lying but he is charged with the Congressional Oversight and investigation in this case so he has to be diplomatic and cannot say anything that would jeopardize the case against Eric Holder, but Arizona Representative Paul Gosar is not investigating Eric Holder and he can afford to be a little less candid than Darrell Issa:
We’re talking about consequences of criminal activity, where we actually allowed guns to walk into the hands of criminals, where our livelihoods are at risk,” Gosar said in a phone interview. “When you facilitate that and a murder or a felony occurs, you’re called an accessory. That means that there’s criminal activity.We impugn the private sector, we impugn main street America, and the bureaucracy cannot be held to any different standard whatsoever,” Gosar told TheDC, insisting that Justice Department and ATF officials “intentionally — intentionally — violated the law.”
Gosar said the administration was “showing an intentional, wanton disregard for the law,” and that “there’s got to be consequences for that
I agree with everything that Paul Gosar said, and in fact I have said it myself (although not as well) in previous posts on this subject. Not only has the Obama regime been accessories to murder in my opinion, but they have been obstructing justice and have been caught tampering with evidence at the murder sight of Brian Terry and justice must be served.
At this time I don’t see how Eric Holder can remain as the head of the “Justice” Department and I feel as if it is only a matter of time before he resigns, but his resignation is simply not good enough and I hope that Darrell Issa feels the same way because in my opinion there was criminal activity here and he deserves to be prosecuted for his crimes. And then there is the possibility that this could be considered an act of international terrorism.
Senate Republicans call for a vote on Barack Obama’s jobs bill, but Harry Reid blocks it
For what seems like weeks, Barack Obama has been crossing the country on his reelection campaign while demanding that the Congress pass his jobs bill right away. He claims that it is imperative for the Congress to act on this bill in order to help struggling Americans, and he is blaming Republicans for blocking the bill.
But Barack Obama’s claim that Republicans are holding up the bill because they would rather see the American people struggling than hand him a victory before the election is not only misleading, it is an outright lie. The last time I checked the Senate was still under Democrat control and the Democrats have the ability to bring Barack Obama’s jobs bill to the floor any time they please, but are unwilling to do so–so how can Republicans be to blame when the Democrats won’t move the bill forward? They haven’t had a chance to block the bill because there has been no vote scheduled on the bill.

Gunrunner: Eric Holder changes his story and Republicans call for a special counsel to investigate
On May 3rd of this year Eric Holder appeared before the Congress and when he was asked when he first learned about the deadly Operation Fast and Furious he claimed that he first heard about the operation “probably a few weeks ago.” But recently released documents contradicted Eric Holder’s testimony and show that Eric Holder was kept in the loop about updates regarding the deadly scandal and he knew about the operation as early as July of 2010. (Many of us feel as if Eric Holder not only knew about this operation but authorized it, but at this time we can only prove he learned of the operation in 2010 so for the sake of this post that is the date I will use.)
In light of these newly released documents Eric Holder realizes that he has a major problem on his hands for it is obvious that he lied to the Congress and should be held in contempt of Congress, so now in an attempt to clarify his damning testimony, he is changing his story by claiming that he misunderstood the question. Barack Obama marched with the New Black Panthers in 2007
Barack Obama has been hanging around radicals his whole adult life. When it was revealed that Barack Obama attended the church of Jeremiah Wright for twenty some odd years he explained that he never heard any of the radical, anti-American and anti-Semitic ramblings of the pastor and this was accepted at face value even though it is totally unbelievable that he was absent from church every single time Jeremiah Wright spewed his hateful rhetoric.
When he admitted in his book that in college he sought out the radicals and the Marxists we were told that this was meaningless because it was from an episode in his past and, after all, we all probably have done things in out past that we are now ashamed of and Barack Obama is no different.
When we learned that Barack Obama launched his political career in domestic terrorist and cop killer Bill Ayers’ living room we were told that Barack Obama was unaware of Bill Ayers’ radical past even though Barack Obama admitted that this is the type of person that he sought out.
All of this was ignored by the media and thusly Barack Obama was not fully vetted by the American people and now we are learning that Barack Obama marched with the terrorist linked New Black Panthers while he was running for president.
This really comes as no surprise to those of us who learned about Barack Obama’s radical past but the media covered this up as well; we should have been privy to this information seeing as how this happened when he was on the campaign trail and was not something he did as a youth, but it was covered up and is only now coming to light.
We can play the game and state that Barack Obama’s wasted youthful years of cocaine use and his penchant for hanging around Marxists was just a phase irrelevant to the election process, but what should we think of a man who marched with the New Black Panthers while he was running for president?
I think it shows us that Barack Obama never outgrew those “youthful indiscretions” and I think it provides us with some insight into Barack Obama true radical agenda.
When Eric Holder testified in front of the Congress on May 3rd of this year he testified that he had only heard about Fast and Furious a few weeks before. I have previously shown video evidence that Eric Holder may have been lying to the Congress in this post.
In the video from 2009 Deputy Attorney General David Ogden states that he and Eric Holder are taking new steps in the fight against the drug cartels and admits that Operation Gunrunner was part of these steps. This confirms that Eric Holder knew about what was going on unless he didn’t know about the details of the deadly operation, and I find that to be highly unlikely now that we know the scope of this deadly scheme.
So giving Eric Holder the benefit of the doubt–which he doesn’t deserve–let us move to today’s revelation that Eric Holder was informed in emails as early as 2010–a full year before he pleaded ignorance to the Congress–which shows that he was kept in the loop while Fast and Furious was in the process of killing hundreds of Mexicans and at least two Americans.
