Occupy Wall Street earns endorsements from the American Nazi Party and the Communist Party USA

October 16, 2011

There is one aspect to the Occupy Wall Street protests which concerns me as the movement grows and expands into several states in the country, and that is the communist element behind the movement.

Do I think that everyone who is involved in these protests is a communist? No, certainly not, most of them probably have no idea that they are in the midst of a Marxist style class warfare battle called for by the president–and we can blame the public education system for not teaching our children proper history, as well as ourselves for not teaching them either–but certainly some of the speakers know what their anti-capitalism, class warfare, proletarian rhetoric is all about. It is about government control versus freedom, the rich versus the poor, and it is the type of class warfare that most would be communist dictators use to usher in the “people’s” revolution.

Solargate: Have you heard about the SunPower controversy?

October 15, 2011

Have you heard about the latest controversy about to rock the Obama regime? It is much the same as the Solyndra and LightSquared scandals, only much worse. For those of you unfamiliar with the Solyndra scandal I will give you a brief synopsis from a post I wrote on it earlier this year:

Solydra was a green energy company that Barack Obama wished to make the centerpiece of his new green jobs initiative, and the owner just happened to be a major donor to the Obama campaign, so he fast tracked a review into the solvency of the company in order to present Joe Biden with the needed backdrop to announce the initiative. By doing so Barack Obama ignored the warning signs and granted Solyndra a $500 million loan in stimulus funds. Predictably the company went bankrupt and because Barack Obama changed the rules agreed to in the stimulus bill the campaign donor was granted priority over the American taxpayer for any funds recouped in the bankruptcy. The campaign donor was protected and the American taxpayer is on the hook for the entire $500 million.

Here is a little background on the LightSquared scandal:

A company called  LightSquared which is run by a major Democrat donor,  Philip Falcone, was developing a new technology which the Pentagon feared would interfere with the military’s GPS system and the Congress was beginning to hold hearings about the Pentagon’s worries. A four-star Air Force general, William Shelton, was set to testify in front of the Congress but his prepared testimony was leaked to the White House. The White House was unhappy with the testimony because it was unfavorable to a major Democrat campaign donor, so they asked the general to change his testimony when he appeared before the Congress.

What could be worse than wasting $500 million in taxpayer money on a company that was going bankrupt so that 1,000 jobs could be saved for a couple of months while the taxpayers got screwed and the share holders were protected, all in an attempt to push the Obama regime’s green energy initiative as the future of manufacturing in America? And what could be worse than pressuring a General to change his testimony to help a company with a tie to a major Democrat donor at the expense of national security?

Gunrunner: Darrell Issa subpoenas White House aide

October 14, 2011

Earlier this week Darrell Issa subpoenaed Eric Holder and asked for more documents and emails related to Fast and Furious, and it now appears as if it is only a matter of time before Eric Holder will have to testify once again before the Congress to “clarify” his previously “deceptive” testimony. In addition to the subpoena issued to Eric Holder, Darrell Issa also subpoenaed a White House aide who was in email contact with the “Justice” Department.

The aide in question is Eric Schultz and he was brought on by the White house specifically to respond to the Oversight Committee. The “Justice” Department was communicating with the White House as the scandal was unfolding and Darrell Issa wants to see what was discussed between these two criminal organizations.

We know there were communications that did go to the White House on Fast and Furious. We’ve been told that they were personal communications that just happened to occur. We wanted an official assurance on that.

The White House was communicating with the “Justice” Department as the scandal began to unfold and these are supposedly personal emails; if that is the case Eric Holder should have no problem releasing these emails because surely they will show no link between the White House and the “Justice” Department if these really are personal emails. But Darrell Issa isn’t convinced:

The question is whether the White House has been instructing the Justice Department on what [documents] to release

What is at question here is whether or not the White House was instructing the “Justice” Department on which documents should be released and which documents should be stonewalled. This investigation appears to be moving past Eric Holder and higher up the chain and possibly all the way to Barack Obama. This scandal is getting close to the White House and if I were Barack Obama I would be getting just a little bit nervous.

Gunrunner: How did Eric Holder deny knowing about Fast and Furious before he claims he knew about Fast and Furious?

October 14, 2011

Did the title of this post make any sense to you? If it did not I will attempt to clear it up by sharing the following video of an interview conducted at CNN (of all places) with you:

Back on May 3rd of this year Eric Holder testified under oath that he only learned about Operation Fast and Furious “over the last few weeks,”  so how was in possible for Eric Holder to make it perfectly clear to Barack Obama that he knew nothing about this scandal back in March while talking to the president if he had only recently learned of the scandal sometime in April? And how is it that an Inspector General was supposedly assigned to the case without Eric Holder’s knowledge?

Looks like someone is lying here (and speaking of lying, does anyone really believe that Obama learned about the scandal while watching the news?) in an attempt to coordinate the official message but as so often happens when you weave a web of deceit and lies you cannot keep your stories straight and it appears as if this has happened in this case. If Eric Holder and Barack Obama expect to cover this scandal up they will have to start by getting on the same page.

  The plot thickens…..

Occupy Wall Street starts to show their true (red) color

October 12, 2011

As I have watched the Occupy Wall Street movement grow there is one aspect of the movement that has bothered me. And that is the fact that most communist revolutions begin with a leader stepping up the class warfare rhetoric while promising to take care of the working class at the expense of the upper class–the proletariat vs the bourgeoisie–and that is what we are beginning to see here.

Barack Obama–the self professed working class warrior–has stoked the class warfare fires and called for people to get up off their couches, take off their slippers, and start marching in protest of the bourgeoisie. And that is exactly what is happening as the useful idiots are now marching against the upper class (going so far as to protest on their property) in a scene that is eerily reminiscent of days gone by in a couple of European countries in the 1920s.

Gunrunner: Eric Holder subpoenaed by Darrell Issa

October 12, 2011

Claiming that Eric Holder knows more than he is letting on regarding Operation Fast and Furious Darrell Issa has officially subpoenaed Eric Holder seeking more documents related to the deadly scandal.

Top Justice Department officials, including Attorney General Holder, know more about Operation Fast and Furious than they have publicly acknowledged,” the California Republican said in a statement. “The documents this subpoena demands will provide answers to questions that Justice officials have tried to avoid since this investigation began eight months ago. It’s time we know the whole truth”
Yes, it is time that we know the whole truth and Darrell Issa is turning up the heat on Eric Holder.

The subpoena seeks, among other things, all communications regarding the operation from 16 top Justice officials, including Holder, his chief of staff, Gary Grindler, and the head of the department’s criminal division, Lanny Breuer,  as well as correspondence on specific dates to and from the former head of the ATF’s Phoenix field division, William Newell.

It also asks for all documents and communications referring or relating to the murder of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement Agent Jaime Zapata, including any correspondence outlining the details of Zapata’s mission at the time he was murdered.

The United States announces it broke up a terror plot hatched between Iran and a Mexican drug cartel

October 11, 2011

Earlier today the Obama regime announced that it broke up a terrorist plot that was hatched between Iran and a Mexican drug cartel. The way the news is being reported you would think that the arrest was made today but the government first learned of the plot months ago and actually arrested one of the co-conspirators last month, ending the plot, but the government didn’t see fit to make the announcement until today. Why is that?

The timing of this announcement is very suspect indeed; it didn’t come until it was shown that Eric Holder most likely lied in his testimony to the Congress on Operation Fast and Furious–or was so incompetent that he didn’t know what was happening within his own department–and calls for the resignation of the beleaguered head of the “Justice” Department really began to gain momentum.

Once the pressure began to mount on Eric Holder to resign because of his incompetency the Obama regime needed something to show the American people that Eric Holder did actually know what he was doing so they suddenly decided that it was time to release the news of this thwarted terrorist attack.

The timing of this announcement is too coincidental to have not been well thought out politically and the link to a Mexican drug cartel cannot be ignored in light of the fact that the United States government was selling weapons to the drug cartels. There is no doubt in my mind that this announcement came during Eric Holder’s darkest hour in an attempt to boost Eric Holder’s image with the American people and I for one do not think that this changes anything. Eric Holder needs to resign pending criminal charges for his role in Operation Fast and Furious.

Dick Durbin claims Republicans will “pay a price” for opposing Obama’s jobs bill

October 10, 2011

Barack Obama has been crossing the country on the campaign trail telling anyone who will listen that the Republicans in the Congress are holding up his jobs bill while demanding that the Congress pass the bill right away. But that is not quite true is it? In fact it is the Democrats in the Senate who are unwilling to vote on Barack Obama’s latest round of stimulus spending disguised as a jobs bill.

At one point REPUBLICAN Mitch McConnell asked Harry Reid to bring the president’s job bill to the floor for a vote but this was blocked by DEMOCRAT Harry Reid who claimed that the Senate had more important issues to work on before they got to the jobs bill.  Still, this hasn’t stopped the Democrats from trying to blame the Republicans for this bill being stalled in the Congress and Dick Durbin is the latest to speak out on this issue:

I hope there will be. And I’ll tell you, if the Republicans take the current position and hold it, that they’ll do nothing, I think they’ll pay a price for it,” Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) said about the jobs bill

Yes, the Republicans do oppose this jobs bill, but what Dick Durbin is ignoring is the fact that the Democrats also oppose this legislation as evidenced by the fact that Harry Reid will not bring the bill to the floor for a vote; if the Democrats supported the bill Harry Reid would bring it to the floor in an attempt to get the Republicans on the record as being opposed to this legislation, thusly proving Barack Obama’s point.

This bill actually has bipartisan non-support and the reason for this is simple; the American people have rejected Barack Obama’s failed economic policies and they see this as more of the same. Nobody in either party is ever going to vote in favor of this legislation before the election and Barack Obama knows this. But that will not stop people like Barack Obama and Dick Durbin from claiming that it is the fault of the Republicans if this bill does not pass.

The problem with this argument is the fact that the vast majority of the people do not want this bill to pass and this strategy could backfire on Dear Leader because Republicans will be credited with–not blamed for–stopping Barack Obama from wasting trillions more of the taxpayers dollars, and Dick Durbin must be living in an alternative reality if he thinks the people will hold it against Republicans if this bill doesn’t pass.

But this just goes to show us the low regard in which people like Dick Durbin and Barack Obama hold the intelligence of the American people because they do not think we can see through their little game.

Gunrunner: Darrell Issa tells Eric Holder he has “reached a new low”

October 10, 2011

Last week Eric Holder sent a letter to Darrell Issa in which he still made the claim that he knew nothing about the deadly operation known as Fast and Furious and in this letter he berated Darrell Issa for investigating the operation. Today Darrell Issa responded with a scathing letter of his own to Eric Holder in which he claimed that Eric Holder’s defense has “reached a new low:”

In a letter sent to Holder on Sunday and publically released on Monday, Issa lists several instances in which the DOJ either denied the existence of the gun “walking” tactics used in Fast and Furious — the process of allowing for the sale or delivery of firearms into the hands of suspected criminals — or dragged its feet in turning over documents the committee had subpoenaed.

“All of these efforts were designed to circle the wagons around DOJ and its political appointees,” wrote Issa.

Holder’s letter “did little but obfuscate, shift blame, berate, and attempt to change the topic away from the Department’s responsibility in the creation, implementation, and authorization” of Fast and Furious, said Issa.

It appears your latest defense has reached a new low,” wrote Issa.

“Incredibly, in your letter from Friday you now claim that you were unaware of Fast and Furious because your staff failed to inform you of information contained in memos that were specifically addressed to you. At best, this indicates negligence and incompetence in your duties as Attorney General. At worst, it places your credibility in serious doubt.”

Strong words to say the least and that is only part of the letter, the full text can be read here, and I recommend that everyone read it because Darrell Issa picks apart Eric Holder’s defense one point at a time.

But I wanted to touch on one more part of this letter for it unravels Eric Holder’s claim that he was not informed of the content of the emails regarding Operation Fast and Furious:

In March 2010, Grindler was made aware of the operation’s gun sales to a suspected straw buyer who lived on food stamps, according to Issa’s letter. The buyer paid for more than 700 guns with cash and Grindler did nothing to stop the operation, said Issa.

Issa said that Grindler either told Holder about the operation and its tactics, or he did not. If he did tell Holder, then the attorney general was not being truthful when he told Congress that he was only made recently aware of the operation. If Grindler did not tell Holder, then it would be considered a “dereliction of his duties.”

Issa concludes that Grindler must have told Holder because he was not fired for “dereliction” and was instead given his current job as Holder’s chief of staff.

Eric Holder has only one of two options; he can either admit that he knew about Operation Fast and Furious when he is subpoenaed or he can continue to plead ignorance of the details of the operation. Darrell Issa has even picked apart that defense because if Eric Holder truly wasn’t informed of the deadly operation wouldn’t he have held someone accountable for not informing him? Yet the man charged with keeping Eric Holder in the loop was not reprimanded, he was promoted.

It is becoming more and more apparent that Darrell Issa has Eric Holder right where he wants him and I honestly do not believe that Eric Holder can hang on much longer. If Eric Holder was smart he would resign before he appears before the Congress and digs his grave any deeper, but I don’t think he will do that because he honestly believes he can wiggle his way out of this and ultimately his arrogance will be his undoing.

Gunrunner: Hundreds of Fast and Furious weapons found

October 10, 2011

The last week or so has been a tough period for Eric Holder and the “Justice” Department–it was learned that Eric Holder most likely perjured himself in sworn testimony to the Congress, the heat has been turned up on Eric Holder and there are growing calls for his resignation, the Obama regime tried to use one of its favorite defenses to deflect blame when all else fails (blame Bush) but this backfired once it was learned that Operation Wide Receiver and Operation Fast and Furious really had nothing in common, and Darrell Issa is preparing to subpoena him to testify in front of the Congress once again–so I thought I would share a little but of good news regarding the deadly Operation Fast and Furious in the interest of being fair.

Under Operation Fast and Furious it is estimated that the federal government authorized the sale of at least 2,000 weapons to known Mexican drug lords through straw purchasers, and of those 2,000 weapons it is estimated that the government last track of about 1,400 of the weapons and have no idea where they are.
