The mainstream media is trying to downplay it but there is a civil war brewing within the Democratic party. We saw an example of this was over the weekend when Hillary Clinton got 60 potential Bernie Sanders delegates disqualified, which led to chaos at the Nevada Democratic convention and ultimately to the removal of the Senator from Vermont’s supporters after the threat of arrest.
And now progressive groups are targeting the man whom many feel is Hillary Clinton’s top pick as a running mate–Julián Castro.

It was not supposed to be this way. The Republican primary season was supposed to be filled with chaos as 17 candidates vied for the nomination of the party while the Democratic primary season was supposed to be a cakewalk ( I prefer coronation) for Hillary Clinton.
While all is still not right within the Republican party there are signs of a unification beginning as Donald Trump pivots to the general election and everyone sets their sights on defeating Hillary Clinton. The same cannot be said for the Democratic party and the latest example of this comes from Nevada’s Democratic convention earlier today. Chaos erupted after Hillary Clinton’s campaign successfully got 60 Bernie Sanders delegates disqualified because they are not registered Democrats.
Sanders delegates felt “cheated” after the Clinton campaign challenged the standing of 60 Sanders delegates for not being registered Democrats.

Now on to the musical selection of the week: Skillet has been labeled as a Christian rock band but I do not think that label is quite accurate, I would consider them to be a band of Christians who know how to rock. While the members of Skillet are Christians most of the band’s music is not Christian-themed but they do have some songs which are undeniably Christian-themed and today I am going to share one of them. Democratic leaders are starting to get a little bit worried because that pesky little socialist Senator from Vermont is hanging on in the race to dethrone the pre-primary presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton. With Donald Trump all but securing the Republican nomination some Democratic leaders are now urging Bernie Sanders to drop out of the race fearing that by continuing in the race he is undermining the party leaders’ chosen one to defeat the billionaire businessman.

Democratic Party leaders are upping the pressure on Bernie Sanders to drop his presidential campaign, alarmed that his continued presence is undermining efforts to beat the presumptive Republican nominee, Donald Trump, and again win the White House.
“I don’t think they think of the downside of this,” said Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., a supporter of front-runner Hillary Clinton and broker of the post-primary peace between Clinton and then-Illinois Sen. Barack Obama in 2008.
“It’s actually harmful because she can’t make that general-election pivot the way she should,” Feinstein said. “Trump has made that pivot.”
Bill Whittle’s PJTV Afterburner finale: ‘Flameout’
Apparently PJTV, where Bill Whittle creates his Afterburner videos, is closing its doors and in his latest video entitled “Flameout” he says goodbye to the crew who has helped him over the last eight years. This is his last Afterburner video on PJTV however he is vowing to fight on on his his own website, billwhittle.com.
This is sad news but I look forward to seeing what he does in the future, here is the video:

Earlier today, according to this story, a federal judge ruled that the Obamacare subsidy funding is unconstitutional because the Congress did not fund it and as we all know all funding must originate in the House of Representatives. Here is more:
A federal judge on Thursday ruled the Obama administration has been improperly funding an Obamacare subsidy program, a huge win for the House of Representatives’ lawsuit against the White House.
Congress authorized the program but never actually provided the money for it, wrote U.S. District Court Judge Rosemary M. Collyer. The program will be allowed to continue, pending appeal.
“Congress is the only source for such an appropriation, and no public money can be spent without one,” wrote Collyer, a George W. Bush appointee.
Liberals like to claim that the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server to conduct ALL of her State Department business is nothing but a witch hunt and in order to justify this claim they point to the fact that no smoking gun has come out despite a two year investigation.
Of course in order to make this claim the left has to forget two little inconvenient truths: first; the State Department has been stonewalling the investigation and second; the FBI, not just Republican congressmen, is conducting a criminal investigation.
And now, according to this story, there is a third possible hindrance to charges possibly being brought against the former Secretary of State and that is the fact that Injustice Department employees have donated almost $75,000 to the Clinton campaign.

Another primary contest has come and gone and with it came yet another Bernie Sanders victory over Hillary Clinton. According to this story after winning West Virginia yesterday the Sanders campaign sent out an email that warned Democratic voters that nominating Hillary Clinton would be a “disaster” because he polls better against the billionaire businessman than does the former Secretary of State.

Sen. Bernard Sanders‘ campaign said Wednesday the Democratic Party would be courting “disaster” if it nominates Hillary Clinton as its presidential nominee.
In a fundraising email to supporters, Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver cited recent polls showing the Vermont senator performing better against Republican Donald Trump in general election match-ups. Recent surveys have shown Mrs. Clinton virtually tied with Mr. Trump in the key battleground states of Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida.
Citing those troubling figures, Mr. Weaver said the Democratic Party — and its superdelegates who are free to support either candidate — must reject Mrs. Clinton and embrace Mr. Sanders, or face a crushing defeat in November.
Many of us have grown tired of the bias in the mainstream media and have turned to the alternative media for getting information. I personally stopped watching the news on television, including Fox News, several years ago and rely on the internet for my information. I read my news from many sites, both liberal and conservative, and then I make a decision based on what I have read.
Many people get their news nowadays from social media and while I am on Facebook and Twitter I do not rely on these sites for news because many times it seems people post articles from sites which are less than trustworthy. It takes a discerning mind to sift through what is true and what is not on Facebook and Twitter because everyone on those sites has an agenda.
If this story is true my suspicions have been confirmed because some former Facebook employees are admitting they used their positions to stifle conservative posts while promoting liberal posts. Here is more:
Back in April Bryan Pagliano, the man who set up and maintained the personal email server Hillary Clinton used to conduct all State Department business on, was granted immunity by the Department of Injustice but despite this he is still refusing to testify in front of the Congress on the email scandal.
Now the State Department is claiming, surprise surprise, that it cannot find any of his emails. Here is more:
The State Department said today it can’t find any of Bryan Pagliano’s emails from the time he served as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s senior information technology staffer during her tenure there.
Pagliano would have been required to turn over any official communications from his work account before he left the government. State Department officials say he had an official email account, but that they can’t find any of those records and continue to search for them.
“The Department has searched for Mr. Pagliano’s email pst file and has not located one that covers the time period of Secretary Clinton’s tenure,” State Department spokesman Elizabeth Trudeau said today, referencing a file format that holds email.
“To be clear, the Department does have records related to Mr. Pagliano and we are working with Congress and [Freedom of Information Act] requesters to provide relevant material. The Department has located a pst from Mr. Pagliano’s recent work at the Department as a contractor, but the files are from after Secretary Clinton left the Department,” Trudeau added.
