State Department ‘belatedly’ finds another 1,300 emails from Hillary Clinton’s aides
According to this story the State Department has “belatedly” found another 1,300 of Hillary Clinton’s emails that were requested by Judicial Watch in a FOIA request four years ago. Here is more:
The State Department has belatedly discovered about 1,300 emails relating to deceased Islamic cleric Anwar Al-Awlaki in official accounts belonging to top aides to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, more than four years after a conservative group requested all such records, a new court filing reports.
At a federal court hearing in Washington last month, Justice Department attorneys assigned to the case brought by Judicial Watch told a federal judge that State‘s “executive secretariat” — the repository of records for the secretary’s office — was searched in response to the initial Freedom of Information Act request from Judicial Watch.
In the new filing Thursday evening, the lawyers representing the State Department said the records of Clinton’s former office were searched initially. The filing is vague about whether any responsive records were found at that time. However, it says a batch of emails about Al-Awlaki — who was killed in a U.S. drone strike in Yemen in 2011 — turned up only during the follow-up search.
Pennsylvania college students want to rename ‘Lynch Memorial Hall’ due to racial overtones
I have written several posts on how political correctness has run amok on college campuses all across the nation, a summary of which can be read here. And there is more but now we have another case. Students at a college in Pennsylvania, Lebanon Valley College, want to have Lynch Memorial Hall’s name changed due to racial undertones.

Students at a small Pennsylvania college are demanding that administrators rename a building called “Lynch Memorial Hall” because of the racial overtones of the word “lynch.”
The building is named after Clyde A. Lynch, who was president of Lebanon Valley College from 1932 until his death in 1950.
Students want school officials to either rename the building entirely or add Lynch’s first name and middle initial, saying the word recalls the public executions of black men by white mobs in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
It was included on a list of demands that students presented to the school on Friday. Other demands include a more diverse curriculum, more sensitivity training for staff and regular surveys of the racial climate on campus.
Colorado ACLU Board member compares Donald Trump to Joseph Goebbels, claims he will “have to shoot” Trump supporters
A member of the Board of Directors for the Colorado chapter of the ACLU, Loring Wirbel, had an interesting Facebook post today: he compared Donald Trump to Joseph Goebbels but that is not all, he also said that if you are supporter of Donald Trump he would “have to shoot you before election day.”
Here is his entire Facebook post:
The thing is, we have to really reach out to those who might consider voting for Trump and say, “This is Goebbels. This is the final solution. If you are voting for him I will have to shoot you before election day.” They’re not going to listen to reason, so when justice is gone, there’s always force, as Laurie would say.
Apparently threatening to kill people is his way of “reaching out” to people whom he does not like, the end justifies the means I guess.
Does this qualify for hate speech with the Obama regime? This is a threat and I wonder if the Attorney General Loretta Lynch will open up an investigation, or does it only work one way?

John Kerry spoke in front of the COP-21 climate conference in Paris and he admitted that if the United States cut its carbon emissions to zero it would not be enough to save the planet.
Here is what he said:
The fact is that even if every American citizen biked to work, carpooled to school, used only solar panels to power their homes, if we each planted a dozen trees, if we somehow eliminated all of our domestic greenhouse gas emissions, guess what – that still wouldn’t be enough to offset the carbon pollution coming from the rest of the world.
But he did not stop there, he admitted that even if every single industrialized nation cut their emissions down to zero that nothing would change:
I always caution people to take national polls with a grain of salt and the latest New Hampshire poll is a perfect example of why national polls can be used to judge the mindset of the voters but not necessarily the outcome of the individual state elections.
Last week a national poll was released which showed that Hillary Clinton was leading Bernie Sanders by 28 points however a new New Hampshire poll just came out and it shows us that Bernie Sanders is leading Hillary Clinton by 10 points.

Back in 2013 the Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta, testified in front of the Congress and he stated that there was not enough time for troops to respond to the Benghazi attack. This is also a claim that then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has also made.
Here is a quick refresher:

Panetta told the Senate Armed Services Committee nearly two years ago that “time, distance, the lack of an adequate warning, events that moved very quickly on the ground prevented a more immediate response.”
However a newly released email from Leon Panetta’s Chief of Staff seems to contradict that claim, here is more:
New Iowa poll has Ted Cruz in the lead
While national polls might be a decent measure of a candidate’s popularity we must look at the individual state polls in order to catch a real glimpse at how the election might shake out and if Iowa is any indication Ted Cruz might be beginning to peek at the right time.
Two weeks ago Ted Cruz moved into second place in Iowa and then shortly thereafter he was found to be in a virtual tie with Donald Trump. But the news keeps getting better for Ted Cruz because a new poll of likely Iowa caucus goers has him in first place above Donald Trump by five points.

Latest poll shows Hillary Clinton’s poll numbers plummeting against potential Republican rivals in the general election
With Bernie Sanders having played his role of controlled opposition in the primary season it appears at this point that it is all but given that Hillary Clinton is going to be the Democratic nominee in the general election, however a new poll is out which shows that Hillary Clinton’s support in the general election is plummeting against all of her potential Republican opponents.
Again I must give my standard admonition: take this poll for what it is worth because it is a national poll, however national polls can still give us a feeling for the mindset of the American voters so they can not totally be ignored, and this latest poll shows us that Hillary Clinton might be in a little but of trouble after the primary season is over.

Well, I returned to work on Tuesday after a month of convalescence and I have to admit it took a couple of days for me to get back into the swing of things but in all honesty it feels good to see the guys again and to get back to my normal life–or at least a semblance of my normal life as I am on a 32 hour work week for December and cannot lift anything over 10 pounds for three months. The 10 pound restriction is hard to get used to because basically it means that I cannot lift more than one gallon of water, I cannot even lift my own tool bag without asking for help! I have to ask people to do things for me that I would normally do for myself and at times it feels like I am not carrying my weight but everyone is understanding.
So many people have come up to me after the surgery and told me they were praying for me and I have to tell you that despite what some on the left have been saying recently prayers really do mean something and I have been touched by how many people were praying for me, including many whom I did not know were believers.
Think about it this way: if people care about you enough to include you in their petitions to God, which is the most intimate relationship a person can have, you are truly blessed and you should not take it for granted. I would like to publicly thank everyone who kept me in their thoughts and prayers, you will never know how much it means to me to know you cared so much about what I was going through during the most difficult point in my life and were praying for me.
Now on to the musical selection the week: my posts are automatically shared with Facebook so people who follow me there but do not necessarily follow the blog will probably wonder what the title of this post is all about, but of course regular readers of America’s Watchtower know that the title of this post is a song title. Perhaps curiosity will encourage some of my Facebook followers to come to the blog to find out and that is a good thing.
I could not decide what band to share with you today but I knew that I wanted to post something from a band that I had not shared before and this song suddenly popped into my head last night.
