First of all let me express my deepest sympathies, thoughts, and prayers to those who were killed or injured in the Boston Marathon bombing and to the families of the victims. I had not intended to write about this attack until more facts were known about the situation, and certainly not while the situation was still so fluid, until I read this story on The Daily Caller.
While most of us are concerned with the well being of those who ran the marathon and those who were at the marathon the New York Times wasted no time in spinning this into a political issue. The propaganda arm of the Obama regime was in full force when Nicholas Kristof tweeted the following:

Words cannot express the disgust I have for the politicization of this attack and the lack of sympathy he has shown for the victims and their families, but this is the way the left operates–they play on emotions to push their ideology–so it is not surprising.
Honestly, I feel a little guilty myself for writing about this while the story is still unfolding but when such examples of blatant ideological and political exploitation take place I feel obligated to respond.
Barack Obama only pays an 18% tax rate
I am sure you all remember the class warfare campaign Barack Obama waged to win his reelection bid: He painted the rich–especially Mitt Romney–as evil capitalists who do not pay their fair in taxes because they take advantage of tax loopholes which are not available to ordinary Americans.
Hell, at one point Harry Reid even made the accusation that Mitt Romney hadn’t paid his taxes in ten years when we were in the throes of the campaign. Well, it turns out that Barack Obama himself may be almost as guilty as those whom he ran against in the campaign because according to this article he only paid a tax rate of about 18.4% last year.
It turns out that Barack Obama isn’t really the middle class warrior he fancies himself to be, in fact it turns out that he is exactly the type of person he campaigned against heading into the 2012 election.
Once again Barack Obama has displayed the do as I say not as I do mentality that is so prevalent with the elitists in Washington today–they feel they are the enlightened ones and as such they are above the laws they expect we plebeians to follow.
And now that Barack Obama has been caught in the trap he tried to set the mainstream media still doesn’t see fit to call him on his hypocrisy, there is nothing Dear Leader cannot get away with.

Obamacare: The cost of the healthcare exchanges has doubled from the original estimate
Last month we received the devastating news that the Obamacare taxes were going to be double what the original estimates were, and today we have learned that the cost of implementing the healthcare exchanges were also double the original estimates, and if that weren’t bad enough the number of people who will be covered has dropped.
The result is that the number of Americans projected to gain insurance from the law has already eroded, by at least 5 million people, to 27 million by 2017, the CBO said in February. In addition, as many as 8 million people will lose health-care plans now offered through their employers, almost three times more than the CBO initially projected.
This is on top of the fact that the Basic Health Program–which was supposed to provide healthcare for the poor–has been delayed until 2015, as has the small business exchange–which was supposed to help small businesses offset the costs of the providing insurance to their employees. (By the way, the mandate still kicks in in 2014 so the poor and the small businesses are screwed for they still have to comply with the law.)

As expected Harry Reid’s gun control legislation advanced in the Senate today and the process of punishing law abiding citizens for the actions of a madman are officially underway.
Upon reaching this milestone the first thing that a couple of Democrats did was to thank the propaganda arm of the Obama regime for helping to “change the debate” and push Barack Obama’s usurpation of the second amendment.
Senator Manchin thanked CNN for its role, while the King’s Hand, Joe Biden, thanked MSNBC and their faux-conservative Joe Scarborough.
If you are one of the people who still believe the MSM is a fair and balanced outlet which simply reports the news this should be all the proof you need that the MSM is actually just trying to push a liberal agenda and are creating the news and the narrative the Obama regime wants to be promoted. And today they received their props for all their hard work on this issue.
Here is a great video I found at Sentry Journal of a communism survivor explaining why the second amendment must not be usurped. In this video he states that many people don’t understand what freedom is because they have never lost it, and I feel he is 100% right. Too many people in this country will not understand what freedom is until it is lost, and at that point it will be too late.
Sequester? White House concerts, teargas for the Muslim Brotherhood, and money for NATO ambassador’s gardening
As we all know last night the Royal Family held a gala event at the White House with private performances by numerous stars while the White House tours and veteran tuition benefits remain a casualty of the sequester. You have to have priorities after all, and we know that Barack Obama’s priority is making the sequester as painful as possible on the American people.
In addition to last night’s festivities the Obama regime has also decided to fund snail sex studies, plans to reduce the human-elephant conflict in Africa, Pakistani education assistance, and Senate haircuts. And all of this occurred as the King’s Hand, Joe Biden, took his third vacation of the year, and as the Royal Daughters vacationed in the Bahamas and took a ski trip to Idaho.
Now we have learned about a couple of more examples of what Barack Obama feels is more important than helping our veterans get the tuition assistance they may need: Teargas for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and gardening for our NATO ambassador in Belgium.
Can there now be any doubt as to why Barack Obama introduced the sequester in the first place? He planned all along to hurt the American people and blame it on the Republicans while at the same time distancing himself from the role he played in ushering the sequester because he felt it would help the Democrats win the House in 2014, and that is all he really cares about.
Here is what MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry had to say about the relationship between parents and their children:
We have never invested as much in public education as we should have because we’ve always had kind of a private notion of children: your kid is yours and totally your responsibility. We haven’t had a very collective notion of these are our children.
So part of it is we have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families, and recognize that kids belong to whole communities
We parents have to get over the notion that our children belong to us and we have to get over the notion that we are responsible for the upbringing of our children because someday they will be a part of the community.
Why is it that people on left do not think we can raise our children to be a functioning member of the community without the government stepping in and taking responsibility from us?
Of course we know the answer to that question, don’t we? The leftists want to make sure they have complete control over what our children are taught from the time they first enter school until they graduate from college so they can be indoctrinated into the statist mindset, and in their opinion a parent with too much influence over their child is a hindrance to their goal. So basically what she is saying is that we parents also have to be reeducated because we are letting our children down by trying to instill values in them ourselves.
But if this quote sounds a little familiar it should, here is a quote from 1933: “When an opponent declares, “I will not come over to your side,” I calmly say, “Your child belongs to us already… What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.

I first read about this story at Bunkerville so props are in order for finding it: During a briefing with reservists a United States Army instructor called Catholics and Evangelicals extremists and equated them to al Qaeda as potential threats.
The army is claiming this was the work of one man and was not reflective of the Army’s policy:
This slide was not produced by the Army and certainly does not reflect our policy or doctrine,” he said. “It was produced by an individual without anyone in the chain of command’s knowledge or permission
A rogue agent if you will, where have we heard that before? Oh yeah, that was how the Obama regime tried to categorize Fast and Furious when that scandal first broke and we now know that was a lie, but we are supposed to believe the regime now.
But is it a case of one man who over-stepped his bounds? After the Obama regime and DHS issued the now infamous right wing extremist report, which among other things labeled returning veterans as potential terrorists, one has to wonder if this was indeed passed down from on high.
And then when we couple this with the fact that Barack Obama derided Christians for clinging to their Bibles and with the fact that the federal government is buying billions of rounds of hollow point ammunition (which cannot be used against a foreign enemy according to the Geneva Convention) we are left to wonder what the truth really is.
Is this simply a case of political correctness run amok or is there more to this story…..
