Inspector General finds Hillary Clinton’s emails include some which were above ‘top secret’
Hillary Clinton has been claiming ever since the email scandal broke that she neither sent nor received any emails which contained confidential information. (Of course she is ignoring that certain emails are born classified even if they are not marked as such.)
Now Inspector General I. Charles McCullough III has sent a letter to the Congress which debunks the former Secretary of State’s rather flimsy defense. He claims that not only did some of the emails contain classified information but that some of the emails contain information which is above top secret.

Then vs now: Donald Trump on New York values
Last week Ted Cruz attacked Donald Trump for having “New York values.” Donald Trump took huge offense to this, stating that it was “insulting” for Ted Cruz to attack him on his previously held liberal positions on most issues. Of course Donald Trump tried to downplay this attack by somehow trying to make the claim that Ted Cruz was talking about September 11th when everybody knows the Senator from Texas was talking about social issues and used this term to reinforce the fact that Donald Trump is a liberal and not a conservative despite what he is currently claiming.
In effect Donald Trump was trying to distance himself from his New York values by changing the argument, but Donald Trump did not always have a problem with his New York values, as can be seen in the following clip from 1999.
As you can see in the video Donald Trump claims he hates abortion but because of his New York values he is pro-choice, and this is exactly what Ted Cruz was talking about despite what Donald Trump would have us believe.

Global warming alarmist Bernie Sanders is flying around the country on private planes
Democratic Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders is perhaps the leading voice on global warming out of all the candidates who are running for President, so much so that during one debate which was focused on foreign policy he lamented the fact that there was not a mention of global warming. Of course he is one of those people who have tried to link global warming to national security so I suppose he thought talking about global warming during a foreign policy debate was justified.
Unlike other leading voices in the global warming movement, such as Al Gore, Bernie Sanders has more or less tried to live up to some of the expectations he has for others on this issue: Unlike the aforementioned Al Gore, Bernie Sanders has flown coach on commercial airplanes most of the time, however something interesting has happened now that his Presidential aspirations have grown and his candidacy has taken on a legitimacy in the Democratic party.
Donald Trump calls Ted Cruz a ‘nasty guy’
I think it is becoming fairly obvious that Donald Trump is getting just a little bit nervous about how well Ted Cruz is doing in Iowa and because of this he has upped the attacks on the Senator from Texas. Last week Donald Trump lashed out at Ted Cruz for saying he represented New York values.
We all know, and so does Donald Trump, that Ted Cruz was referring to the liberal social values of many of the politicians who come out of Washington. And I think that Donald Trump’s previous comments about and donations to Hillary Clinton and other liberal Democrats before he decided to run for President leave many questions about how conservative Donald Trump really is. (I do not buy his excuse that he was simply doing business.) But Donald Trump, laughingly in my opinion, tried to tie Ted Cruz’s comment to September 11th, and has gone so far as to call his comment “insulting.”

The rock world lost a legend last week when David Bowie passed away at the age of 69 so here is my tribute to him. First up is “Cat People” performed live, followed by “The Man Who Sold the World” and “Scary Monsters.”
I am going to go out on a limb here and state that I believe most rock fans are fans of at least some of David Bowie’s music, so if this is true I would like people to post their favorite Bowie tunes because I think it will be interesting to see which songs people choose.

When I sat down at the computer tonight I quickly realized that just do not have the fight in me tonight. It is nothing serious, this just happens from time to time to many bloggers. Or at least to me anyway…
Luckily for me Bill Whittle released his latest Afterburner video entitled “The Lottery: Instructions on Winning” so I have decided to post this video and take the night off from blogging.
This is an interesting video in which Bill Whittle talks about the “hope” many people see in playing the lottery and how it is really just a false hope with little chance of succeeding. He talks about how if people, instead of relying on this false hope which will most likely never yield results, instead focused on hard work and dedication they might at least achieve some of their dreams.
This video is a little different than what we are used to seeing from Bill Whittle but I found it to be thought-provoking. Here it is, enjoy:

Republican debate open thread
I have to be perfectly honest with you here; I am not going to watch the debate tonight because I have better things to do. Namely, The Blacklist is on and I will be watching to see what happens to Lizzy, Red Reddington, the shadow government and the Cabal.
But here is an open thread so if you would like to comment on the debate as it happens this is the place to do so. If anything interesting happens I will read about it tomorrow.
New national poll shows Bernie Sanders surging, Eric Holder endorses Hillary Clinton
Regular readers of America’s Watchtower know how I feel about national polls; they should not be used to try to predict the outcome of a primary or Presidential election because we do not have a national election (yet) but they can be used to gauge the popularity of candidates within the voting base.
A new national poll has been released which shows us that Bernie Sanders is surging in popularity among Democratic voters nationally, here is more:
48 percent of Democratic primary voters across the country support Mrs. Clinton, while 41 percent back Mr. Sanders, the poll found.
The former Secretary of State still holds a respectable seven point lead over the Senator from Vermont however just one month ago she held a twenty point advantage:
Just a month ago, she led Mr. Sanders by 20 percentage points nationally.
Mr. Sanders’s shifting fortunes underscore the unsettled state of the presidential race in both parties with just three weeks before the Iowa caucuses.
Just a few short days ago an Iowa poll was released which showed Bernie Sanders within striking distance of Hillary Clinton, trailing by just three points. And now a new Iowa poll has been released which shows Bernie Sanders ahead of the former Secretary of State for the first time. According to this poll Hillary Clinton is trailing the Senator from Vermont by five points, here is more:
a Quinnipiac poll released later in the day, grabbing 49 percent to her 44 percent.
The FBI expands its Hillary Clinton email scandal investigation to include The Clinton Foundation
Despite what her defenders are saying the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email scandal is not just a partisan attack or merely just part of the vast right wing conspiracy that has been dogging Hillary Clinton and her husband since the 90’s. In order to push this angle the former Secretary of State’s defenders focus on the Congressional inquiry which is run by Republicans while ignoring the fact the FBI has opened up a criminal investigation seeking to determine if Federal law was broken by passing on classified information on a non-secure email server.
In addition to that the FBI is also reportedly looking into possible Espionage Act violations and now, if this story is true, the FBI is expanding its investigation to include The Clinton Foundation about the possibility of connection between the Clinton’s charity foundation and the State Department.
